Observation

After several staff interviews, it was determined a child was left outside in the preschool playground area without active supervision. The staff member that was in the toddler play area, divided by waist level barrier, was supervising her toddler classroom but unaware of the preschool child left behind. Therefore, the preschool child was not receiving active supervision. Department will close as "valid" for WAC 0345(5)(c).
